This city was abandoned in 1986. Its population had been around 50,000. Until recently, the site was practically a museum, documenting the late Soviet era. Apartment buildings (four of which were recent constructions not yet occupied), swimming pools, hospitals and other buildings were all abandoned, and everything inside the buildings was left behind, including records, papers, TVs, children's toys, furniture, valuables, and clothing, etc. that any normal family would have with them. Nvidia has begun attempting to tempt its graphics card manufacturer partners with the GeForce 9600 GT chip, leaked presentation slides have revealed. Nvidia will pitch the part as "big on performance, easy on the wallet". The GPU, apparently codenamed 'D9M', is a DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 product designed for PCI Express 2.0 cards. It'll be fabbed at 65nm, and Nvidia claims it will deliver a performance boost of up to 90 per cent over the GeForce 8600 GTS. Memory with access time 1.0 ns is produced by Samsung company . We recall that GeForce 9600 gt has 512 mb Gddr-3 memory , which communicates with video chip using the 256- bus . This video chip has 64 stream processors. The default video card frequencies are equal to 650/1625/1800 MHz. The Video card GeForce 8800 gs has 96 stream processors, 192- bus and 384 mb Gddr-3 memory , and it works at 575/1438/1700 MHz frequencies.
In spite of is more thin 65 nm technical process, G94 is much larger than G84 - almost by 39%. However, The GeForce 9600 GT is faster than GeForce 8600 GTS by almost two times, so increase in the core area is justified from performance side . In the majority of test the GeForce 9600 GT win over the GeForce 8800 GS. But if we speak about its superiority over the GeForce of 8600 GTS 256 mb., then we can see a clear twice higher performance.
